To Do in the Garden for September
Posted on | September 4, 2009 | No Comments
- Divide and replant perennials
- Divide and replant calla lilies and daylilies
- Plant chrysanthemums
- Fertilize gerbera daisies and roses
- Prune climbing roses after they bloom
- Shrubs only need light pruning to improve their overall appearance. Avoid pruning too much, because you don’t want to encourage new growth that will not mature before the weather gets cold.
