Listings Update 5-20-08

We had a sales meeting down at Midtown today; the weather was so beautiful downtown that we had the meeting outside. My goal for Midtown this week is to create a spreadsheet of real estate agents that have clients looking for homes in Downtown Charleston, in the $450,000 to $750,000 price range. Then I can call the agents, and drop packages by their offices. In my opinion, this is the best way to go. We have previously tried reaching all downtown agents, but agents that have clients looking downtown are everywhere: Mt. Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island, West Ashley, James Island, Folly Beach, etc. I am hopeful that this will create more showings by agents with qualified buyers.
We closed on my parents’ house in Mt. Pleasant on Thursday. I hope the new owners will be very happy there. Everything went smoothly, and the closing lasted little more than an hour.
