Cruising Around Charleston Harbor
Posted on | October 27, 2008 | No Comments
We went sailing on the Schooner Pride this weekend for a friend’s birthday. It was a lot of fun. It was a beautiful day, but a little chilly, especially on the water. We met at the Aquarium Wharf at 4:45, and then cruised around Charleston Harbor for the sunset.
If you’ve never done a Harbor Cruise, you should. The boat we were on is a sailboat, but they have power boats as well. It’s a great way to see the city, and definitely shouldn’t be missed. It’s especially fun if you are going with a large group of friends for a party. For more info, go to www.schoonerpride.com.
There’s a lot to do in Charleston this time of year. It seems like from now until after the holidays there is something going on every weekend. For more info on fun things to do in Charleston, a great resource is The Charleston Visitors Bureau. You can search by month and there are links to most of the events.
The weather has finally cooled off, and the bugs are taking a break, so be sure to get out and do some of the things that this city is known for!!!
